These beginning flow classes offer the basics of breath yoga postures, which will give you fundamental basis for a strong yoga practice. It is great confidence builder for beginners, as well as an opportunity for those who have been doing yoga for years to reconnect with their practice.
This class is a bridge between the Yoga Basics class and Flow Level 2. Creative sequencing and a focus on alignment will help student to move their practice forward. Although we don’t practice advanced poses, you will likely still be challenged. This class is appropriate for beginning students. More advanced students are always welcome.
This class is designed for students with some familiarity with yoga. The instructor will offer a variety of modifications to encourage participation of everyone. We do sitting, standing, and inverted postures, and suggest challenging variations for more advanced students, yet fun and non-intimidating options for those who need less of a challenge!
This class is for yoga teachers, teacher trainees and experienced students. We will explore advanced asana and transitions, breath work, and meditation. Mastery of advanced poses is not required. A willingness to have fun and try is necessary!
Yin Yoga emphasizes the connective tissues through a relaxed practice of long, passive holds in specific postures. These asanas gently stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissues that form our joints, allowing us to maintain and restore joint flexibility. In this class, we will add a bit of slow, gentle flow at the beginning to warm up the body and end in the Yin practice to restore balance and ease. All levels welcome.

This hands-free flow preserves the spirit of vinyasa yoga characterized by postures carefully sequenced with breath with emphasis on standing leg strengthening postures, standing balances and core strengthening postures. Appropriate for all levels, including beginners.
This class focuses on gentle strengthening and stretching exercises with the aim of improving mobility and stability of the vertebral column and back muscles. It is appropriate for all levels of students. Those with existing back problems are encouraged to attend with consent from their physician.
Deep stretch is focused on building flexibility through a series of held poses. It is an excellent class for active people who need to give some love to their tight muscles. This class is appropriate for all levels.
The first half of class is a slower paced flow class designed to wake up muscles and improve range of motion. Class will end with a restorative practice, using props to support the body in a variety of poses. This class is appropriate for beginning students.
Restorative Yoga focuses on alignment and relaxation. Props are used to increase support, strength and flexibility. Students will be instructed on how to do safe modifications of postures in order to enjoy the therapeutic effects of yoga, without the rigor. This is a gentle and healing class.
Prenatal Yoga uses postures, breathing, and meditation to help ease pregnancy, delivery, and the after effects of birth. The classes create strength, focus, flexibility and awareness through a gentle practice designed especially for the pregnant woman's needs. Prenatal Yoga classes provide a safe, peaceful and supportive environment for expectant mothers and are a wonderful way to connect with other mothers-to-be. Yoga helps to alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as heartburn, nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. The classes are appropriate for both new and experienced students.
Andrea will guide mamas and their partners through a series of prenatal partner yoga poses and breath work, which will ease some of the challenges of pregnancy, be helpful in preparing for labor and can then be drawn upon during labor itself. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your baby and partner, and celebrate this new life you are nurturing together. Bring your partner, a friend, family member or doula!
